They both lost to talented guys and I agree
nothing to really compare against due to lack of out of conference matches and no tourneys. Love Sam and he has great things ahead (including wrestlebacks today hopefully). However, Lamont appeared so much stronger - maybe in this case it is the difference between a redshirt freshman and a fifth year senior. I commented earlier I thought Lamont was legit and would be tough for Sam to beat. I also believe there was a confidence issue - he didn’t look quite the same after getting thrown to his back in that first match against the #31 seed. And it happened again in this match and was the difference in the match. Put it behind you, Sam! Go get that AA!
